  • Thank you so much, Helena, for an incredible mom-and-daughter vision board workshop. As always, you hold the most empowering spaces. A true honour and delight to spend such a lovely, creative, vibrant afternoon with my daughters, creating something so fun and meaningful for next year. Thank you!

  • We participated in the workshop with Helena that was organised by our school for Year ‘ ‘ girls. The girls spent a few hours with Helena before their mums joined for an afternoon of sharing of stories, laughter, tears and a beautiful connection between mothers and daughters. The workshop was filled with education, art, fun activities and stories. My daughter and I left the session feeling connected and content, and I felt like my cup had been filled. We spent the whole evening after the workshop talking about things that my daughter had learned so openly. I could see that she was so much more relaxed and at ease about the changes that will await her. My daughter said this to me about her experience: “I really enjoyed the workshop, it was a lot of fun, especially with my friends. We laughed a lot and I would do it again tomorrow! I understand the process of how my body will change much better now.”

  • I’m blown away with how positively my daughter responded, especially considering she wasn’t keen on attending initially. Abigail mentioned that she gained more knowledge from Helena in just half a day than she has from school in the past three years.

  • Isla had such a great time with Helena and we are both still talking about it regularly. Isla dried her mandala items and is burning her candle. She loved the mirror that Helena gave her. Thank you so much Helena!  Isla learnt that periods are something to look forward to and not to neglect. What amazed Isla is that she will have about 441 periods in her life time.

  • It has been an amazing weekend. I had lots of energy in my pelvis and I celebrate my current period even more now because I don’t know how many are left before entering my wisdom years. Anisha loved the workshop too because the activities are in her creative sphere.

  • Hey Helena, Can u believe it? On Wednesday, Chloe started her period (three days after the CDG). As if she waited until she was fully prepared! Your workshop gave her so much confidence. Brilliant! Thank u so much.

  • Thank you for having Isabella and myself to the wonderful ceremony, for the learning and for the fabulous photos! Izzy has been positive about it, asking me some more questions and adding new things to her first period gifts LOL;) I found it beautiful and also cleansing/healing for my not so pleasant experience, knowing the girls will be so much better. It was great to hear the story to about how it is celebrated in various cultures and also the other Mums’ stories. Thank you so much for this beautiful experience and your generosity.

  • My 10 year old daughter and I consider ourselves to be very blessed to have been at Helena’s Celebration Day for Girls. It was the perfect opportunity to create more connection, understanding and openness between Rani and I; and we both feel a lot more prepared for the very special journey to come of her becoming one step closer to being a woman and getting her period. Rani and all the other girls were very excited to create their own individual plan on how they would honour themselves during the sacred moon time. It was very cute and special. Helena was amazing and created a very safe and beautiful space. Rani opened up very quickly and can’t wait to go back for more. Thanks again, Helena.

  • The Celebration Day for Girls was a magical, spiritual, illuminating day that we will never forget! It strengthened the bond between mother and child, between teacher and child and between all the girls in Class ” and prepared the girls for the transition into womanhood. The girls really opened up, and this previously taboo subject became a curious and exciting journey to look forward to. Combing up to date information with much needed ceremony and celebration, the girls learnt what to expect when their bodies begin to change and were given practical ways to manage their cycles and honour their bodies. Helena you were incredible, and I would recommend it to all upper primary girls! Thanks again for how fabulous this day was. You were the perfect person for the job.

  • When I found about this event I was so relieved and wanted to attend as I have been struggling to talk to my daughter about her pending body changes. Thank you Helena for making it such a beautiful experience for both of us. I loved the deep sharing from the other mums and daughters too – what a privilege to be a part of such an intimate experience.
